Public-interest data about how Australian governments perform

The Australian Public Interest Alliance is a not-for-profit that collects data from the public record, publishes it in full with its sources, and keeps it accurate and available over time.

We publish

We compile data from the public record and publish it in full, with every figure linked to the source it came from.

We maintain

Datasets go stale, move, or quietly disappear. Ours are kept current and citable, and are meant to still be here in ten years.

We are independent

No political affiliation. No commercial income. No external funding. Our method is published so anyone can check our working.

Our work

Too Hard BasketLaunching Q4 2026

A public record of what happens after a parliamentary committee reports: whether government responded, how long it took, and what the response actually addressed.
